Conservation in Action

This portfolio showcases Ping-Chung Tseng's behind-the-scenes work at the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA), the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met), and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA). It features several significant conservation projects since 2006, including the meticulous treatment of an ancestor portrait, which served as the thesis topic for his MA degree in conservation from Taiwan. Additionally, the portfolio highlights the conservation processes and results for various artworks, including hanging scrolls, Eastern gouaches, and Japanese woodblock prints.
